Message and order approving a supplemental appropriation of Nine Million Thirty-Five Thousand Five Hundred Eighty-Two Dollars ($9,035,582.00) to provide funding in the Police Department for the FY16 cost items contained in the arbitration award of JLMC Case No. 12-2078 in December 22, 2015 which amends the salary schedule for the Boston Police Detectives Benevolent Society. The terms of the contracts are July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2013 and July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2016. The contract award provides for an overall salary increase of approximately 28.7% over six years of the contract. Filed in the Office of the City Clerk on January 20, 2016.

Communication was received from Council President Michelle Wu calling for the election of the City Clerk for a term commencing on February 3, 2016 and ending on February 1, 2019. President Wu called for nominations for position of the City Clerk. Councilor Baker moved to nominate Maureen E. Feeney. President Wu asked for any further nominations hearing none. Motion Prevailed. On motion of President Wu, a roll was called with the following result. For Maureen E. Feeney, having received thirteen unanimous votes, was declared elected City Clerk for a term commencing February 3, 2016.
