Step onto the historic grounds of the Bunker Hill Monument for the 250th Battle of Bunker Hill Remembrance Ceremony & Oration, held during the very hours of the original battle. This solemn and powerful event will commemorate the exact anniversary of June 17, 1775, honoring the courage and sacrifice of those who stood for liberty. Featuring voices from local, national, and international communities, the commemoration ceremony brings together past and present in a moving tribute to the enduring spirit of revolution and remembrance.

Seating will be ticketed.

Let's celebrate Charlestown's rich history with strength, spirit and community! This FREE, high-energy, full-body workout is designed for ages 15 and up and welcomes all fitness levels.

Led by certified instructor and Charlestown resident Tracy Callahan, this upbeat session will combine cardio, strength, and functional training to get your body moving— whether you're a beginner or a seasoned fitness fan.

Wear comfortable clothes, bring a water bottle and a mat, and be ready to move!

U. S. Army Field Band and Soldiers' Chorus and the Musical Ambassadors of the Army will play a tribute concert, honoring those who fought in the Battle of Bunker Hill.

Procession with Grand Lodge of Masons in Massachusetts, the Ancient & Honorable Artillery Company, American Friends of Lafayette, Massachusetts Lafayette Society in full regalia will proceed along the Freedom Trail to the Bunker Hill Monument Grounds.

10 a.m. - Echoes of Revolution: 200^th Anniversary of the Bunker Hill Monument’s Cornerstone Laying

Place: Bunker Hill Monument Grounds

Michael Douglas, “Daniel Webster” Reenactor will read Webster’s edited speech. “Lafayette” will deliver his historical remarks. Guest Speakers will follow. Accompanying music from the original 1825 event will be performed.

6 p.m. - Toasts and Odes

Place: The reenactment continues at Old South Meeting House

Prominent dignitaries will speak the very same toasts given at the 1825 celebration. Vocal quartet plus six strings and five brass and wind players will accompany.

Even more spectacular in this 250th anniversary year! This beloved Charlestown tradition honors the Battle of Bunker Hill, the armed services, and the essence of American heritage while celebrating the historic neighborhood of Charlestown. Marking the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Bunker Hill—and of the U.S. Army and Navy—the parade features more military units than ever, including the Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, Commander-in-Chief’s Guard, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Special this year: the Brothers of the Battle, descendants of those who fought, marching to honor their families’ legacy. This once-in-a-generation event will bring history to life. Don't miss it!

Help support the Charlestown Boys and Girls Club and our Members by participating in one of the oldest Road Races in the Northeast and experiencing our fantastic and historic route. This 5k Course is a very scenic and challenging route through the hills and streets of Charlestown passing historical sites such as the Charlestown Training Field, St. Mary’s Church, the Freedom Trail and the Bunker Hill Monument.  

Shirts available for the first 900 registered participants. BIB/SHIRT Pick Up will be on Friday from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m.- 1:00 a.m. and the morning of the race starting at 9:00 a.m. at the Charlestown Boys and Girls Club (High St. Building)

A fun and engaging community concert featuring live music at the base of the Bunker Hill Monument. This year we'll once again enjoy hearing the music of Jinty McGrath- a highly sought-after Irish musician in the Greater Boston area.
