We are adding to our public bike share system in every Boston neighborhood. In this phase we are focusing on these neighborhoods: Charlestown, East Boston, South Boston, and the Waterfront.

At this open house event, there will be a brief presentation at 6 p.m. After, attendees are invited to review maps and site plans of our proposed station sites. We will answer questions and take your comments. Attendees may drop in at any time. 

The content will be the same at all four open houses in this phase.

Mark your calendar and bring your friends and family to a fun and free Neighborhood Fun Fest Party and learn more about your neighborhood community center!  The Fun Fest will be held on Thursday, August 8, from 5-7 p.m. at Doherty Park/BCYF Clougherty Pool in Charlestown.

The BCYF Fun Fest will offer a variety of free activities including music, a cookout, DJ and dance party, children’s activities, giveaways, and information about BCYF Charlestown Community Center’s programming and activities.

Additional Fun Fests will be held over the course of the summer at other BCYF centers including August 22 at BCYF Marshall Community Center in Dorchester. Visit our website for dates and locations.

Pool features include:

• A new, modern 1940 square foot six-lane lap pool that meets USA Swimming competition certification standards with removable starting blocks and an accessible ramp entrance
• A new, modern 2970 square foot family pool with accessible zero entry including five interactive spray features and shade structure
• A new accessible viewing platform and expanded IPE wood bench seating along existing concrete bleachers
• All-new filtration room and equipment
• New fencing and lighting around pool deck
• Wi-Fi coverage at pool deck
