Join the SPARK Boston Book Club for a public discussion of "Common Ground"!
SPARK Boston, the Mayor's volunteer civic engagement council for 20- to 35-year-old Bostonians, is pleased to open is current and alumni member Book Club to the general public as part of our Back to School series. Designed to teach young professionals about the public education system in Boston, Back to School fills in the knowledge gaps of young Bostonians curious about Boston Public Schools. Our book club is currently reading seminal Boston text and Pulitzer Prize winner "Common Ground", by J. Anthony Lukas. Join us on the evening of April 5 for a moderated discussion with light refreshments!

Employer Information Session
The Mayor’s Office for Immigrant Advancement, Boston Public Library, and Pathway for Immigrant Workers are hosting an information session for employers about how to sponsor a low-wage immigrant worker for a green card. An immigration lawyer will give a presentation and answer questions. The information session is on Thursday, March 2 from 6:00-7:30 pm in the Commonwealth Salon of the Central Library in Copley Square.
Registration is encouraged but not required.
