Look out for future Farmer's Markets at the new and improved Codman Square Park!

After compiling community input from a series of Community Engagement events, conversations with neighbors at Farmers Markets, and  on-the-ground site assessment, the design team has finalized a site plan that supports the key program elements desired by the community. The renovated park will enhance the social character of the space and improve circulation and event space for the park's current functions and community uses. The new design will also feature art that celebrates the cultures of the local neighborhood. Codman Square Park received special funding from the Office of Green Infrastructure and Climate Ready Streets, a program at the Mayor's Office of New Urban Mechanics, and the site will feature new Green Stormwater Infrastructure and Climate Resilient Cooling Misting Towers!
