Heads Up Boston
Our mental health matters! Consider this your official invitation to speak up. It’s okay to not be okay. It’s normal to need help and it’s not cool to keep quiet. So give someone a Heads Up! Be heard. Be strong. Be together. From Dorchester to East Boston, from Chinatown to Roxbury, together is always better.
Don’t be alone
Trauma happens to us. Discrimination happens to us. That’s unfair and out of our control. But the best way to face it is to get together. Let’s talk. Let’s listen. Let’s share the pain so we can start to heal. Here’s how:
- Take care of yourself: When you need someone, reach out. Tell your friends how you feel.
- Take care of each other: When your friends are down, listen up. Ask what you can do.
- Take care of everyone: Mental health is a give and take. So when you need help, ask. When someone else needs help, offer. Make talking about it easier by talking more, to more people, more of the time.
Click below to give people a heads up that you’re getting involved. If you sign up, your friends will too! (and you might even get a special surprise).
