Our department directs all municipal, state, and federal elections within Boston. As part of our work, we also register voters, conduct an annual census, and educate the public on voting.

Early Voting in Boston
Early voting for the State Election on November 5 will take place from Saturday, October 19, through Friday, November 1.
Vote by Mail in Boston
If you are a registered voter in Boston, you can vote by mail in all 2024 elections.
