    Contract Price: $1,455,200

    That the Director be, and hereby is, authorized to request from the Mayor, in the name and on behalf of the Commission, written authority to award a contract, pursuant to a publicly advertised request for qualifications under M.G.L. c. 7C, sections 44-57 with advertisements appearing in the Boston Globe and City Record on March 12, 2018 and Central Register on March 14, 2018 to Sasaki Architects, P.C., a New York corporation with an office at 64 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472. Under the terms of this contract, Sasaki Architects, P.C. will provide architectural design and construction administration services in phases, which will be associated with the Boston City Hall and Plaza Renovations project located at 1 City Hall Square, Boston, MA. The term of this contract shall be 260 weeks from the date of execution at a cost not to exceed for the initial phase of work $1,455,200, including $700,000 for additional services for the initial phase of work, which is a fixed fee of 8.24% based on an estimated construction cost of $50,000,000 for the total project.

    The Director is also authorized to execute such contract, in the name and on behalf of the Commission, upon receipt of said written authority from the Mayor.

    Contract to Powers & Co., Inc.: To provide architectural design and construction administration services associated with the Mandela Athletic Complex Locker Room Renovations project located at 75 Malcolm X Boulevard, Roxbury, Massachusetts.

    Contract Price: $469,362

    That the Director be, and hereby is, authorized to request from the Mayor, in the name and on behalf of the Commission, written authority to award a contract, pursuant to a publicly advertised request for qualifications under M.G.L. c. 7C, sections 44-57 with advertisements appearing in the Boston Globe and City Record on October 16, 2017 and Central Register on October 18, 2017, to Powers & Co., Inc., a Massachusetts corporation with an office at 516 East Second Street, Unit 29, Suite 610, Boston, MA 02127. Under the terms of this contract, Powers & Co., Inc. will provide architectural design and construction administration services associated with the Mandela Athletic Complex Locker Room Renovations project located at 75 Malcolm X Boulevard, Boston, MA. The term of this contract shall be 104 weeks from the date of the execution at a cost not to exceed $469,362, including $93,872 for additional services, which is a fixed fee of 8.86% based on an estimated construction cost of $4,234,494.

    The Director is, also, authorized to execute such contract, in the name and on behalf of the Commission, upon receipt of said written authority from the Mayor.
