Aberdeen Architectural Conservation District

The Aberdeen Architectural Conservation District Commission will hold its monthly public hearing on Thursday December 12, 2024, at 4 p.m.

ATTENTION: This hearing will only be held virtually and NOT in person. You can participate in this hearing by going to our zoom hearing or calling 1-929-205-6099 and entering meeting id # 996 8926 3262. You can also submit written comments or questions to AberdeenACDC@boston.gov.

  1. ADMINSTRATIVE REVIEW

    APP #: 25.0442 AB 2000 COMMONWEALTH AVENUE: Replace existing panel antennas with new panel antennas and upgrade its facility.  AT&T's antennas count will remain the same at 12.  The visual elements will actually be lessened because AT&T will use 2 smaller antennas stacked in 2 antenna sectors.  The third antenna sector will remain with an enclosure which will be slightly lengthened; the height of the enclosure will remain the same.  All panel antennas and associated equipment will be painted or wrapped in a radio frequency friendly wrap to match the color of the equipment shelter to blend into the existing mounting surface. The associated equipment including remote radio units and surge arrestors will not be visible for public ways.

    APP #: 25.0459 AB: 6 COLBORNE ROAD: Refurbishment of exterior wood trim within masonry window openings and Installation of triple track storm L5 windows at street. (No low-e glass).

    APP #: 25.0469 AB: 42 ENGLEWOOD AVENUE: Replacement of two front facing exterior 8 over 8 wood windows and two 8 over 1 wood windows with matching windows in terms of materials and pane configuration. Restoration of two exterior street facing bay windows.

    APP #: 25.0471 AB: 61 STRATHMORE ROAD: Replace asphalt shingles in kind.
