Traffic Advisory

The Boston Transportation Department will be implementing traffic circulation modifications to streets in the vicinity of North Station effective Saturday, August 4.  The new street patterns are expected to improve safety and access for people using all modes of travel in the Bulfinch Triangle.

The following traffic changes are in accordance with the North Station Area Mobility Action Plan, and are being made in partnership with the community and the Boston Planning and Development Agency.

• Friend Street will become one-way in a northbound direction.
• Valenti Way will become two-way between Portland Street and Haverhill Street
• An all way stop restriction will be implemented on Valenti Way at the intersections of Friend Street and Canal Street.
