Tree Removal Hearing: Jamaica Plain

In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 87, the Boston Parks and Recreation Department will hold a virtual public hearing on a request to remove three (3) public shade trees in Jamaica Plain.

    The request is for the removal of one (1) Norway Maple tree measuring 24 inches DBH (diameter at breast height) and two (2) Cherry Trees measuring 14 inches DBH and 18 inches DBH along the Brookway Footway in order to construct three (3) new townhomes at 6 Dellmore Rd, Jamaica Plain.

    The hearing will be held by the City of Boston’s Tree Warden (or designee) remotely on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Via ZOOM.

    Public comments, questions or objections to the removal of these trees must be submitted in writing prior to or during the hearing to the Tree Warden, Boston Parks and Recreation Department, 1010 Massachusetts Avenue, 3rd floor, Roxbury, MA 02118 or by emailing trees@boston.gov with “Dellmore Rd Tree Hearing” in the subject line.
