Tree Removal Hearing: Fenway
In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 87, the Boston Parks and Recreation Department will hold a virtual public hearing on a request to remove eleven (11) public shade trees in Fenway.

The request is for the removal of three (3) Swamp White Oak trees measuring 4 inches DBH, 5 inches DBH and 3 inches DBH (diameter at breast height) and eight (8) Tupelo trees measuring 3 inches DBH in order for Northeastern University to install a new underground steam line at 400 Huntington Ave, Fenway.
The hearing will be held by the City of Boston’s Tree Warden (or designee) remotely on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Via ZOOM.

Public comments, questions or objections to the removal of these trees must be submitted in writing prior to or during the hearing to the Tree Warden, Boston Parks and Recreation Department, 1010 Massachusetts Avenue, 3rd floor, Roxbury, MA 02118 or by emailing trees@boston.gov with “Huntington Ave Tree Hearing” in the subject line.
