Ellis works as a Data Engineer on the Citywide Data Analytics Team. She is responsible for maintaining the flow of data within the City's data infrastructure. This work includes creating data pipelines that connect to various City and external sources to improve data sharing and documentation.

Ellis graduated from Boston University with bachelor’s degrees in Math and Computer Science. She went on to earn a master’s degree in Mathematics, focusing on Algebraic and Differential Topology.

In her free time, Ellis likes to bike and listen to music.
