Open Door Day

Join us for OPAT’s Community Drop-In Day!

January 8, 2025
2025-01-08T15:30:04 - 2025-01-08T17:30:04

The Office of Police Accountability and Transparency (OPAT) was created to strengthen trust and accountability between law enforcement and the Boston community. We ensure fair oversight, provide an avenue for community concerns, and work to create a more transparent system for addressing police misconduct.

Open Door Day is an opportunity for residents to:

  • Learn more about what OPAT does and the progress we’ve made so far in improving accountability and transparency.
  • Hear a brief presentation about our mission, recent accomplishments, and future goals.
  • Meet and engage with our staff to better understand how we serve the community.
  • Participate in a short Q&A session to ask questions and share your thoughts directly with us.

We’re hosting this event to build stronger relationships with the community, answer your questions, and make sure everyone feels informed and empowered to engage with our work. Light refreshments will be available!

When: January 8, 2025

Where: 2201 Washington St, Boston

Whether you’ve worked with OPAT before or are just learning about us, we’d love for you to join us. Let’s come together to build trust, accountability, and a stronger community. We look forward to seeing you there.
