Hilary Robinson
Professor of law and sociology at Northeastern University, Hilary Robinson is an expert in the way technology and law influence each other in a social context. Prior to joining the Northeastern faculty in 2018, Professor Robinson was a visiting assistant professor in the Science in Society Program at Wesleyan University as well as the first vice president of the North Shore Branch of the NAACP, which she helped found in 2020 in response to the murder of George Floyd. She received an AB from Harvard University with a special concentration in genomic science and public policy, her JD from Harvard Law School, and her Ph.D in science and technology studies from MIT
