My goal and mission in life is to leave the world better than when I came into it. My community means everything to me; without them and all the educators and mentors I have had in my life, I would not be where I stand today. I give back not because it is expected or because it is my "job"; I do what I do because I make it my job and I do not expect anything in return. Seeing my community heal, grow, and prosper feeds my soul and ignites those flames to keep me moving forward no matter how many bumps in the road I experience. Every one of those experiences is a teachable moment, and every one of those moments makes me a better leader.
