ATTENDANCE
On March 29, 2023, Governor Healy approved an extension to remote and hybrid meeting options for public bodies established under Former Governor Baker's Executive Order of March 12, 2020, Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law through March 31, 2025. The Public Facilities Commission (PFC) will continue to conduct its meetings virtually. This enables the PFC to conduct its usual business while adhering to public health recommendations and ensuring public access to its deliberations through adequate, alternative means.

These practices in effect since May 11, 2020, will remain in effect until further notice. Updates to these practices will be posted as appropriate.

Amendment to the vote of November 15, 2023: Regarding a contract with Jones Architecture, Inc. to provide design services including schematic design through the end of design development for the renovation or new construction of the east grandstand and track and field associated with the White Stadium project located at 450 Walnut Avenue, Jamaica Plain.Increase of $6,977,289 and Time ExtensionThat the vote of this Commission at its meeting of November 15, 2023, regarding a contract with Jones Architecture, Inc. to provide design services including schematic design through the end of design development for the renovation or new construction of the east grandstand and track and field associated with the White Stadium project located at 450 Walnut Avenue, Jamaica Plain;be, and hereby is, amended as follows:By deleting the following words: “to provide design services including schematic design through the end of design development” and substituting in place thereof the following: “for completion of design services from construction documents through construction administration;”and, also, by deleting the following words and figures: “July 2, 2024, a cost not to exceed $2,750,920, including $1,733,090 for base services and $1,017,830 for additional services” and substituting in place thereof the following figures: “August 15, 2027, at a contract cost not to exceed $9,728,209, including $6,977,289 for total amended services consisting of $4,073,806 for amended base services and $2,903,483 for amended additional services.”The Director is, also, authorized to execute such contract amendment, in the name and on behalf of the Commission, upon receipt of said written authority from the Mayor.
