Madeleine Duchaussee

Program Coordinator Co-Op

Madeleine is the GrowBoston Program Coordinator Co-Op for the Fall 2024 cycle. She is a student at Northeastern University, where she is pursuing a degree in Environmental Studies, concentrating in Environmental and Human Health. Her interests include conservation biology and nutrition. Madeleine believes that understanding nutrition’s place in environmental science is key to human health, which is why implementing innovative and sustainable food production strategies is critical to advancing a community’s access to fresh food. Madeleine is from Saratoga Springs, NY. Prior to this position, she served as a Hughes Lab co-op where she participated in salt marsh restoration and oyster reef research. Her passions include track and field, food, and climate justice. Outside of work, Madeleine enjoys tending to her plants and baking sweet treats!
