Mary Connors is a rising junior at Boston College, majoring in Political Science and Philosophy with a minor in Marketing. Mary aspires to pursue a career in government or business, where she can engage in client-facing work and continue building professional relationships. Inspired by her grandfather’s influential work in Boston, Mary is driven to make a positive impact in the public sector. Mary’s love of politics has only grown since landing her first internship for the summer of 2024 in the Office of Mayor Michelle Wu on her Policy team. During her internship, she has contributed to various projects, including White Stadium, Madison Park, and Boston Public Schools’ Town Hall, and earned a capstone promotion to executive assistant. This experience has greatly deepened her understanding of policy and problem-solving in an ever-changing, complex environment. When not drafting memos and presentations for Mayor Wu and other supervisors, Mary enjoys hiking in Vermont with her family, snorkeling, and exploring the world around her.
