Jeff Lambart is the Director of Analytics on the Citywide Analytics Team. Jeff leads collaborative projects with City departments using data to inform decision-making, better allocating resources, generating positive impacts for residents, and improving the effectiveness of operations and services. These projects draw on a variety of tools and approaches, including advanced analytical techniques to identify root causes and trends, geospatial analysis, and rigorous evaluation methods. He also leads efforts to expand public access and use of City data through the Analyze Boston open data portal and partnerships with local universities.

Prior to joining the City, Jeff worked at Third Sector, a national non-profit. There he collaborated with state and local government officials to use data and evidence to work towards the outcomes-oriented delivery of social services. Alongside partners in Massachusetts and Connecticut, he designed funding formulas to equitably and rapidly distribute federal COVID-19 relief funds to early care and education providers. Jeff started his career at Abt Associates supporting impact evaluations of federal and philanthropic social programs.

Jeff holds a Masters in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a B.A. in International Studies and Economics from Boston College. You can find him on the Red Line or eating a hot dog and soft serve at Castle Island.
