City Council Committee On Ways And Means Hearing On Dockets #0670-0678, FY25 Budget: Economic Opportunity and Inclusion, Supplier Diversity, And Labor Compliance And Worker Protections

One of a series of hearings to review the FY25 Budget. The focus of this hearing is the FY25 budget for the Office of Economic Opportunity and Inclusion, Supplier Diversity, and Labor Compliance and Worker Protections.

    Attendance

    In accordance with Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2023, modifying certain requirements of the Open Meeting Law and relieving public bodies of certain requirements, including the requirement that public bodies conduct its meetings in a public place that is open and physically accessible to the public, the City Council will be conducting this hearing virtually. This enables the City Council to carry out its responsibilities while adhering to public health recommendations and ensuring public access to its deliberations through adequate, alternative means.  The public may watch this hearing via live stream at boston.gov/city-council-tv and via broadcast on Xfinity 8/RCN 82/Fios 964.

    PUBLIC TESTIMONY

    Public testimony is integral to the Council’s budget review process. Members of the public may submit written testimony, videos, or testify live in person (for in-person hearings) or via videoconference (for all hearings).
