Public Facilities Commission Meeting (PFD)

ATTENDANCE
On March 29, 2023, Governor Healy approved an extension to remote and hybrid meeting options for public bodies established under Former Governor Baker's Executive Order of March 12, 2020 Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law through March 31, 2025. The Public Facilities Commission (PFC) will continue to conduct its meetings virtually. This enables the PFC to conduct its usual business while adhering to public health recommendations and ensuring public access to its deliberations through adequate, alternative means.

These practices in effect since May 11, 2020, will remain in effect until further notice. Updates to these practices will be posted as appropriate.

Amendment to the vote of May 19, 2022: Regarding a contract with Gale Associates, Inc. to provide architectural design and construction administration services associated with the Josiah Quincy Elementary School Envelope project located at 885 Washington Street, Chinatown.
Increase of $191,400 and Time Extension
That the vote of this Commission at its meetings of May 19, 2022 and July 22, 2020 regarding a contract with Gale Associates, Inc. to provide architectural design and construction administration services associated with the Josiah Quincy Elementary School Envelope project located at 885 Washington Street, Chinatown;
be, and hereby is, amended as follows:
By deleting the following words and figures: “August 31, 2024, at a cost not to exceed $697,705.58, including $214,707.58 for additional services” and substituting in place thereof the following words and figures: “March 24, 2025, at a cost not to exceed $871,105.58, including $191,400 for additional services;” and
The Director is, also, authorized to execute such contract amendment, in the name and on behalf of the Commission, upon receipt of said written authority from the Mayor.
