The City of Boston’s Disabilities Commission provides some trainings on disability topics for community groups. Directions for requesting a training are below.

- Trainings must be requested at least 30 days in advance to be considered
- In-person trainings must be at a fully accessible location/venue. Please note that escalator access is not a substitution for elevator access to floors above the ground/first floor.
- Requests from entities within Boston city limits will be prioritized
- In-person training requests from entities outside of the City of Boston Departments must have at least 10 attendees but no more than 30 attendees

- Fill out the online training request form
- You will be asked to provide information on your group or organization, the training topic, expected number of attendees and venue location (if in-person).

Keep in Mind
- Sending a request for a training does not guarantee approval. Training requests that have been denied can be re-submitted after 90 days.
