Project Goals

Building M, proposed by Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Development Corporation, will be the fifth project to be build as part of the Jackson Square Master Plan. The project consists of 44 units of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom affordable rental housing located on 36,000 square feet of vacant land along Amory Street, located on the same site as The Community Builders project at 250 Centre Street. The project has been awarded funding by the City of Boston Department of Neighborhood Development and the Neighborhood Housing Trust, as well as additional funding from the State Department of Housing and Community Development.

City Planning

This project is going through a zoning review with the Boston Planning and Development Agency (BPDA). Then we’ll work with the Developer on funding, design, and compliance.
