Project Goals

The Cote Village site is comprised of four vacant parcels on city-owned land totaling 113,695 square feet located at the corner of Cummins Highway and Regis Road outside of Mattapan Square is planned for mixed income housing and commercial development.

The development team consisting of Caribbean Integration Community Development, Planning Office for Urban Affairs and AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust has been tentatively designated as the development team.

The proposal which was selected by the community and DND in response to a Request for Proposals, consists of the creation of 76 rental apartments, 83 parking spaces and 4,172 square feet of commercial space. Of the 76 units, 8 will be rented as market-rate units while the remaining 68 will be income-restricted affordable units. Of the 76 units 17 will be one-bedrooms, 47 will be two-bedrooms and 12 will be three-bedrooms.

The Cote Village project has received Article 80 and 121A approval from the Boston Planning and Development Agency. The project has been awarded funding from the City of Boston and state DHCD.
