Project Goals

These two parcels, totaling about 6,000 sq. ft. will be preserved as open space, including a community garden, providing growing space for local residents in addition to the neighboring existing community garden, as well as possible gathering space and other open space uses. Community meetings were held in December 2020 and January 2021. An RFP was released in March 2021, and one proposal was received from the Trustees of Reservations. The Trustees was named Tentative Developer in July 2021, and the land was sold to them in September 2022.
