Mayor Wu announced a heat emergency in the City of Boston through Wednesday, July 17. Cooling centers will be open at 14 BCYF community centers Monday through Wednesday, from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Born and raised in Boston, MA and of Dominican descent, Bianny Suncar, currently serves as the Director of ABCD's Mattapan Family Service Center. She has been with ABCD for over 14 years serving many different roles all towards helping the communities of Boston. Bianny holds a Masters in Public Administration from Suffolk University and a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from UMass Boston.
