Summer Dance Party Series

This family-friendly event series, featuring R&B, Afrobeats, and Old School music, is free and open to the public.

The Summer Dance Party Series will take place on select dates in July through August. The Dance Party Series will be in collaboration with the Democracy Brewing Beer Garden, Silk R&B Night, and Afrique Events.

This year's DJ lineup includes DJ Real P, DJ Prince and DJ Bruno. Each Dance Party will take place at City Hall Plaza from 5 - 9 p.m. except for our AfroBeats Dance Party, which will be from 3 - 7 p.m. Please see below breakdown for dates and times; 

  • R&B Dance Party  Friday, July 26, 2024, at 5 p.m.- 9 p.m.
  • AfroBeats Dance Party  Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.
  • Old School Dance Party Thursday, August 16, 2024, at 5 p.m. - 9 p.m.
