Engineering and Consulting Services for Renew Boston Trust Energy Savings Performance Contracting Program

The City of Boston (the “City”), acting by and through its Commissioner of Environment (the “Official”), requests proposals from qualified businesses, persons or entities (“Vendors”) to provide engineering and consulting services to support its Renew Boston Trust energy savings and performance contracting program (the “RFP”).

A copy of the City’s RFP may be obtained after 12 o’clock noon (ET) on March 14, 2022 at the City’s Supplier Portal under Event ID EV00010317 www.boston.gov/departments/procurement. The RFP will be available up to the deadline for the submission of proposals as set forth below. This RFP is being issued pursuant to the authority of M.G.L. c.30B sec. 6.

Vendors will submit their proposals electronically via the City’s Supplier Portal no later than 4:00 p.m. (ET) on April 14, 2022.Proposals must be submitted in conformance with the provisions of the RFP. Should the City execute a contract pursuant to the RFP, the term of the contract shall be for two years, with one option to renew the contract for an additional one-year period, which shall be exercisable at the City’s sole discretion.

The Official shall cancel the contract if funds are not appropriated in any fiscal year.
