Erate program – Internet Access for MBLN Malden & Chelsea

The City of Boston, acting by the Trustees of the Public Library of the City of Boston, hereinafter referred to as the Awarding Authority, hereby invites written quotes for the project listed above. Quotes will be solicited from selected vendors through the City of Boston’s Supplier Portal: https://www.boston.gov/departments/procurement.

All quotes for this project are subject to all applicable provisions of law and in accordance with the terms and provisions of the contract documents entitled: Erate MBLN Internet Access for Malden and Chelsea

SCOPE OF WORK includes: providing internet access to those two library locations

Quotes shall be submitted before 1:00 P.M., Boston time, Wednesday, February 16, 2022 and opened forthwith. 

The deadline to ask questions is 5:00 P.M, Boston time, Wednesday, January 12, 2022.

SPECIFICATIONS AND PLANS will be available on or about Monday, January 3, 2022 after 12:00 P.M., Boston time

The contract will be for a term of one-year, commencing on July 1, 2022 and ending June 30, 2023, with the option to renew for two following years. 

Final action on any submitted bids will be contingent on receipt of E-rate funding and a decision by the Awarding Authority to proceed with the procurement.  Please be advised that the Awarding Authority uses the SP Invoice form (Form 474) methodology to pay our portion of the expenses.  The successful bidder is responsible for invoicing USAC for the discounted portion of the expenses, and invoices the Awarding Authority for our portion of the expenses ONLY.  Bidders must have a USAC SPIN and include it with their bid response.
