The Boston Public Works Department invites Requests for Qualifications from prospective firms to provide engineering services relative to Pavement Management on construction projects in the City of Boston. The qualified consultant will be responsible for providing quality assurance, utility cost recovery, hot mix asphalt resurfacing / rehabilitation program evaluation, project level pavement evaluations and network pavement management throughout the construction season.  This contract is exempt from the provisions of Chapter G.L.c. 30B and is awarded pursuant to G.L.c. 30.39M.

Request for Qualification Forms will be made available by email on Tuesday July 6, 2021.   The Request for Qualifications must be received no later than 3 P.M. on Tuesday July 20, 2021 at the Office of Construction Management, Room 714, Boston City Hall. No submissions will be accepted later than the time and date mentioned above.

Please submit three (3) copies of the Qualifications for the project.  The City of Boston and the Commissioner of Public Works reserves the right to reject any and all Qualifications, or any part thereof.

Project fees will be negotiated.  Applicants must be Registered Engineers in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
