The City is interested in providing approximately 16,750 square feet of space, through a lease, on the second and third floors of the municipal building at 500 Columbia Road, Dorchester, to a successful proponent to operate a community center or similar type program.  Proponents must meet the following minimum qualification: MUST BE a Non-profit corporation authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and provide programming to benefit youth and families.

The City of Boston (“City”), acting by and through its Property Management Department (PMD) and its Commissioner (the “Official”), invites proposals from Non-profit entities for the performance of the services generally described above and particularly as set forth in the Request for Proposal Documents (Documents).which may be obtained from the City's purchasing website and Supplier Portal (http://boston.gov/procurement) under Event ID EV00009256.

The City has arranged a site visit for Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 11:00 AM, for interested Non-profit entities to visit the site and make a visual inspection of the area to be managed.  The number of persons permitted to attend the Site visit, on behalf of each Proponent, is limited to a maximum of two persons. Email pmdbidinfo@boston.gov to confirm attendance and time.



All proposals shall be filed no later than Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 3:00 PM.

Requests for Proposals shall be available on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 10:00 AM until the proposal filing deadline.
