The City of Boston (City), acting by and through its Transportation Department, invites bids for the service generally described above, and particularly as set forth in Bid Documents (Documents). This contract is procured under the provisions of Chapter 30B of the Massachusetts General Laws.    

The Documents shall be available on the City of Boston website at Boston.gov/supplierportal (Bid Event EV00009136) beginning at 10:00 am on May 24, 2021 through June 11, 2021 at 12:00 pm. Completed documents must be signed and submitted electronically to the above bid event number containing all sections and pages of the Documents no later than 12:00 pm on June 11, 2021.  

The term of the licenses shall be for approximately thirty-five (35) months starting on or about August 1, 2021 to June 30, 2024. The award and continuation of any contract awarded hereunder is subject to appropriation. In addition, this  contract is subject to the Prevailing Wage provisions under Massachusetts General Laws. 

The award of a contract under this IFB shall be based upon a determination of the most advantageous submission from a responsible and responsive vendor taking into consideration the evaluation criteria set forth in the Documents. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids on any part or parts thereof; to waive any  defects, informalities and minor irregularities; and to award a contract as the city deems to be in its best interest. The maximum time for bid acceptance is ninety (90) days after the above mentioned date specified for receipt of bids.
