The City of Boston, acting through the Public Works Department, invites Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms to provide engineering design services relative to the

reconstruction of various streets in the Newmarket Square area in the City of Boston.

The qualified consultant will be responsible for the redesign of intersections and segments of Massachusetts Avenue, Theo Glynn Way, and Southampton Street in the City of Boston to improve safety and access for all modes of transportation and improve the condition of sidewalks, roadways and street lights.  This contract is exempt from the provisions of Chapter G.L.c. 30B and is awarded pursuant to G.L.c. 30.39M.

QUALIFICATION FORMS will be made available on February 17, 2021 and may be obtained by email request to Julie Kennedy at Julie.Kennedy@Boston.gov.  Response to these forms must be received no later than 12:00 P.M. on March 3, 2021.  Please submit responses by e-mail to Julie Kennedy at Julie.Kennedy@Boston.gov.  

The Qualification Forms must keep in accordance with the established format, keeping in mind the project being advertised.

Project fees will be negotiated. Project Engineer should be a Registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
