The City of Boston, acting by the Board of Trustees in charge of the Library Department of the City of Boston, hereinafter referred to as the Awarding Authority, request proposals for performance of the work generally described above, and particularly set forth in the Request for Proposal which may be obtained from the City's Supplier Portal: http://www.cityofboston.gov/procurement, commencing on Monday, January 25, 2021  at 2:00 PM, (EDT ), see bid event #EV00008792 to access. Request for Proposal shall be available until the time of the RFP opening.

The attention of all proposers is directed to the provisions of the Request for Proposal and contract documents, specifically to the requirements for bid deposits, insurance and performance bonds as may be applicable.

All proposals shall be submitted no later than Friday, February 26, 2021 at 2:00 PM, (EDT) on the City's Purchasing website and Supplier Portal, at which time proposals will be opened forthwith. 

The contract will be for a term of one-year, commencing on July 1, 2021 and ending June 30, 2022, with the option to renew for two following years.  

Final action on any submitted bids will be contingent on receipt of E-rate funding and a decision by the Awarding Authority to proceed with the procurement.  Please be advised that the Awarding Authority uses the SP Invoice form (Form 474) methodology to pay our portion of the expenses.  The successful bidder is responsible for invoicing USAC for the discounted portion of the expenses and invoices the Awarding Authority for our portion of the expenses ONLY.  Bidders must have a USAC SPIN and include it with their bid response.
