Heat Emergency in Boston

Mayor Wu announced a heat emergency in the City of Boston through Wednesday, July 17. Cooling centers will be open at 14 BCYF community centers Monday through Wednesday, from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Ariana Weber, MD

Associate Medical Director, Boston EMS

Dr. Ariana Weber, MD started with Boston EMS in 2019. She completed her EMS fellowship, serving as the Assistant Medical Director, and now is one of two Associate Medical Directors.

Dr. Weber received her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and did residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida, in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Weber is an active Emergency Medicine physician at Boston Medical Center.

Among her concentrations within the Office of the Medical Director, Dr. Weber has a particular interest in education. During her residency, she was the recipient of multiple teaching awards. Dr. Weber is now tasked as the lead physician for training and education for the Boston EMS training academy and continuing education for the department.
