Earlier this month, we hit the streets with our traveling photo booth to encourage all who live, work and play in our city to picture themselves in the future of Boston with us.

The Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Services has been out and about in different neighborhood hotspots.

Since kicking off the community engagement process in October, we’ve been thrilled to hear from Bostonians in every neighborhood about their vision for Boston in 2030.

In an effort to engage the community in new and exciting ways, we will be launching our Imagine Boston 2030 traveling photo booths next week!

There’s a lot we know today that can inform us about what the future could look like.

Mayor Walsh announced today that the community engagement process for Imagine Boston 2030 has officially begun with the launch of the Textizen mobile platform.

Class bells had yet to ring, but for a group of Boston high school students, the exchange of knowledge began a little early this year.

The citywide plan will be informed by residents and community members of all ages and walks of life, and young people are essential to the conversation.

HR&A Advisors, with support from Utile Architecture + Planning, has been selected as the consultant team.

Sara Myerson will become the City of Boston's Executive Director of Imagine Boston 2030.

The bidders include several nationally- and internationally-recognized firms.

Focused studies will engage residents with goal of preserving, enhancing, and growing neighborhood assets.

The City is looking for firms with experience in citywide planning to support the initial phase of public engagement.

The two-year public engagement process will create a roadmap for success leading up to Boston’s 400th birthday.
