Traffic Advisory for Saturday and Sunday, February 23 and 24, 2019

A construction project that requires the use of a crane will impact travel on Congress Street southbound at Boston City Hall this weekend.  Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes.  Pedestrian traffic will be maintained on sidewalks on both sides of Congress Street at all times.  Congress Street northbound will remain open to traffic throughout the weekend.

Saturday, February 23

12:01 AM to 6:00 AM - Congress Street southbound will be fully closed to all traffic between Sudbury Street and State Street

6:00 AM to 12:00 Midnight – One lane of Congress Street southbound will be open to traffic between Sudbury Street and State Street

Sunday, February 24

12:01 AM to 6:00 PM – One lane of Congress Street southbound will be open to traffic between Sudbury Street and State Street

6:00 PM to 12:00 Midnight – Congress Street southbound will be fully closed to all traffic between Sudbury Street and State Street
