Traffic Advisory for Friday, June 17, 2022

Street closures and parking restrictions will be in effect for the Vendome Memorial on Commonwealth Avenue.

A memorial service will be taking place at the Vendome Memorial on Commonwealth Avenue from 11 a.m. until noon on Friday, June 17, 2022. The flag of the United States of America will be displayed on Dartmouth Street at Commonwealth Avenue across two ladder trucks and parking will be restricted on the inbound side of Commonwealth Avenue from Dartmouth Street to Clarendon Street.



It is expected that Commonwealth Avenue will be shut down from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.. People attending the memorial are encouraged not to drive their personal vehicles. Information on Bluebikes, the regional bike share service, may be found at on the Bluebikes website and information on the MBTA may be found at the MBTA website. For a faster return trip, the MBTA advises riders to purchase a round-trip rather than a one-way ticket. Walking is also a great way to move around Boston. It is important to read all posted signs.
