We have information below about restricted streets in some of the busier parts of Boston.

    The restrictions in this neighborhood will mostly affect Boston University students, but there are other schools in the area. For the streets listed below, there is No Stopping Thursday, August 31 - Saturday, September 2, from 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.

    Vehicles exiting Ashford Court can only take a left turn on Ashford Street at Malvern Street.

    Ashford Street at Hartley Terrace
    Vehicles exiting Hartley Terrace can only take a left turn on Ashford Street toward Malvern Street.

    Ashford Terrace at Ashford Street
    Vehicles on Ashford Terrace must turn left out toward Malvern Street.

    Brainerd Road at Feneno Terrace
    Vehicles exiting Feneno Terrace can only turn left onto Brainerd Road toward Walbridge Street.

    Vehicles exiting Sawyer Terrace at Ashford can only take a left turn on Ashford Street towards Malvern Street.

    Brainerd Road at Redford Street
    Vehicles coming down Redford Street from Commonwealth Avenue must turn right onto Brainerd Road towards Walbridge Street.

    Brainerd Road at Griggs Street
    Vehicles coming down Griggs Street from Commonwealth Avenue must turn right onto Brainerd Road towards Walbridge Street.


    “No Left Turn” and “Do Not Enter” at the following locations:

    Ashford Street at Chester Street
    Vehicles exiting Chester Street can only take a right turn toward Malvern Street.

    Pratt Street at Wadsworth Street
    We’re blocking access to Pratt Street towards Linden Street. Vehicles traveling on Pratt Street from Ashford Street must turn right onto Wadsworth Street.

    Chester Street at Gardner Street
    Vehicles exiting Chester Street can only take a right turn on Gardner Street towards Malvern Street.

    Brainerd Road at Walbridge Street
    Vehicles coming down Brainerd Road from Kelton Street must turn left on Walbridge Street.

    Fenway/Roxbury traffic restrictions

    The following will be one-way only on Friday, September 1:

    The following will be one-way only on Friday, September 1, from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.:

    Columbus Avenue
    From Camden Street to Ruggles MBTA Station, one-way toward Ruggles

    Mission Hill traffic restrictions

    The following will be one-way only on Friday, September 1:

    Saint Alphonsus Street
    From Calumet Square to Tremont Street

    Calumet Street, towards Wait Street

    Parker Hill Avenue
    From Huntington Avenue to Hillside Street. Drivers traveling down Parker Hill Avenue will need to turn right onto Hillside Street and left onto Frawley Street.

    Expect heavy traffic volumes on all streets in Mission Hill, including Huntington Avenue, Tremont Street, and Columbus Avenue.
