Imagine Boston 2030: Seeking applicants for our Street Team!

We are hiring! For our first citywide plan in 50 years to have a real impact on the future of Boston, we need to reach out to all of our City’s communities – and that’s where you come in.

Our Street Team will be visiting various locations throughout Boston in February and March, setting up interactive activities to engage members of the public who live, work, and play in Boston. These activities will get people talking about issues that matter to them and what they would like to see addressed in the citywide plan.

Our ideal candidates would be:

  • Outgoing and energetic, and enjoy interacting with diverse crowds
  • Excited about the future of the City of Boston
  • Available between February 8 and March 31, 2016
  • Available a minimum of two days a week (can include weekends) between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.

The most important qualification for street team members is being personable and enthusiastic–experience in urban planning is not necessary. Training will be provided, as well as an orientation to get you up to speed on all things Imagine Boston 2030. This is a paid contract position and can be full or part-time, depending on your schedule. Bilingual candidates (Spanish, Haitian Creole, Cape Verdean Creole, Chinese or Vietnamese) are preferred.

Interested? Please email your resume to jake.hasson@boston.gov with the subject line “Street Team.”
