June is Pride Month, a time to celebrate and recognize the contributions of Boston’s LGBTQIA (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, intersex, and asexual or allied) community.

Pride Lights Virtual Ceremony

Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 6 p.m.

A signature event of Boston Pride Week, Pride Lights will feature remarks from Mayor Kim Janey, Chief of Health & Human Services Marty Martinez, a poem reading from Philip Robinson, and a virtual performance provided by the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus.

Boston Pride Virtual Family Movie Night

Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at 6 p.m.

Join Boston Pride for their Virtual Family Movie Night showing Pixar’s “Onward.”

General Assembly Pride Summit

June 8 - 11, 2021

This weeklong festival of free workshops, speaker sessions, and panel discussions focuses on looking at the world through a more inclusive lens with a spotlight on queer creators, founders, and organizers.

Boston Public Library’s Pride Month Author Visit: Kyle Lukoff

In celebration of Pride Month, kids ages 8-12 can join author Kyle Lukoff as we chat about his books, and what it's like to be an author. Kyle has written picture books, chapter books, and early readers.

Join the A.R.T. for the virtual celebration and premiere of "Alice in Rainbowland", a re-imagining of Alice in Wonderland told through dance, music, and LGBTQ pride.

Pride Night @ Fenway Park

Thursday, June 10, 2021, at 7:10 p.m.

Support Boston Pride and join them for the annual Pride Night at Fenway Park, when the Red Sox battle the Houston Astros. There will be a special first pitch, with the national anthem sung by the talented Aaron Patterson.

Reading the Rainbow: An LGBTQ Book Group - 'Butter Honey Pig Bread'

The Boston Public Library’s Reading the Rainbow is an online-exclusive book group geared towards members of the LGBTQ+ community interested in reading fiction, memoirs, and graphic novels that center on sapphic, transgender, and nonbinary identities.

Pride 2021 with the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus

June 12 and 13, 2021

Celebrate Pride 2021 with the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus virtual Pride concert. The music will stir, inspire and bring joy as we celebrate LGBTQ+ dignity and diversity. The show includes BGMC favorites and the premiere of their virtual video “This Is Me".

QueerFolk Fest

Club Passim’s Queerfolk Festival provides opportunities for LGBTQ+ identifying artists and bands.

Trans Resistance Vigil and March

Saturday, June 12, 2021, from 12 - 5 p.m.
