City Council adopts resolution in appreciation of emergency daycare operators

There are 28 Exempt Emergency Childcare Centers operating in the City of Boston.

Healthcare workers, first responders, grocery employees and others who must report to work in order to provide critical services in response to the COVID-19 pandemic need access to childcare. This week the Council adopted a resolution in appreciation of emergency daycare operators serving families of frontline workers in the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I want to uplift and acknowledge the emergency daycare operators who are caring for the children and dependants of our essential workforce, so that they can continue to provide critical services with peace of mind or atleast one less worry about childcare options,” said Councilor Breadon.
