Join us for a panel discussion and resource fair for employers and community members.
The Boston Women's Workforce Council's (BWWC) 2021 Wage Gap analysis points to April 20 as Boston Equal Pay Day, the day in the calendar year when Greater Boston women will finally earn the same as men the previous year.
In recognition of Boston Equal Pay Day, the Boston Women's Workforce Council (BWWC) and the Mayor's Office of Women’s Advancement (MOWA) will bring together Greater Boston employers, City partners, and community members to discuss the unique barriers of specific industries in recruiting/retaining underrepresented candidates and identify new strategies and existing resources to bridge the opportunity gaps.
A resource fair will follow the panel, where community members can interact with Greater Boston employers, local organizations, and City partners to learn more about job opportunities, job training, and professional development programs.
This event is free and open to the public. Food and childcare will be provided. Doors open at 5:30 pm.
*If you are reserving more than one ticket please provide information for each person attending
