Learn-to-Bike for Adults
Free workshop for any adult, who wants to learn how to bike OR refresh basic biking skills and build confidence. Bicycles and helmets provided for all participants.
Taught in a parking lot, this two-hour class is for adults who either have never learned to ride or who want to work on basic skills. This class is perfect for adults who:
- have never ridden a bike before
- haven't been on a bike for years, or
- can ride a little, but need to practice starting, stopping, turning, and hand signaling.

GrowBoston, the City of Boston's Office of Urban Agriculture wants to hear your ideas about growing food in Roxbury.
In an effort to develop the City of Boston’s urban agriculture strategy, GrowBoston is hosting four community engagement events. These events are taking place in neighborhoods with high rates of food insecurity and other social vulnerabilities: Roxbury, Dorchester, Mattapan, and East Boston. We want to hear each neighborhood's urban agriculture priorities!
