To start the Carnival season, Mattapan is hosting a Band Launch event for all the Carnival Masquerade groups to share their designs to engage with the community. Each group will showcase their amazing costumes for this year’s Carnival season while dancing to the rhythms and sounds of Tempo International Steel Orchestra and DJ Ka’Shawn Mhad Kash Spencer. Local restaurant favorites such as Mellow Vibes will offer tasty Caribbean food dishes for purchase.

Para dar comienzo a la temporada de Carnaval, Mattapan organiza un lanzamiento de bandas para todos los grupos de la Mascarada de Carnaval. Cada grupo exhibirá sus disfraces para el carnaval de este año mientras bailan al ritmo y los sonidos de la orquesta Tempo International Steel y el DJ Ka'Shawn Mhad Kash Spencer. Los restaurantes locales favoritos, como Mello Vibez, ofrecerán para la venta platos de comida caribeña.
