Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and Pilates-inspired movements. Using lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out.

The workout is easily modifiable and the alternative vibe and welcoming philosophy appeals to rockstars of all ages and abilities. You bring your energy and we will provide the sticks!

During the workshop, we will share how the plan has developed as a result of the feedback from the most recent community workshop. This will be followed by a discussion of design proposals and programming to streamline and finalize preferences as the Franklin Park Action Plan heads into implementation.

Our arts and crafts workshops are led by local artists. They're held Tuesday through Friday in July and August and run from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. These drop-in workshops encourage kids to explore their creativity through projects like mask making, crayon art, watercolor and much more. Supplies are provided, but you'll need to bring your creativity! 

This series is completely free and open to Boston residents. These workshops will take place in various parks throughout the City of Boston.
