The Mayor's Office of Arts and Culture commissioned CivicMoxie to conduct an Allston-Brighton Arts, Culture and Placekeeping Report, which takes stock of the cultural environment to understand what exists, what is treasured, and what contributes to the unique characteristics of Allston-Brighton. This baseline is meant as a placekeeping* tool – a way to understand what may be under threat and to identify ways to protect and nurture these assets in recognition of the contributions of the culture community. Mayor Wu’s Neighborhood Coffee Hours are a unique opportunity to speak directly with the Mayor and staff from City departments about open space and their neighborhoods. Dunkin’ will be on-site to fuel the local community with freshly brewed Iced Coffee and Donuts. Dunkin’ will brew up even more fun with gift card giveaways. Residents at each event will also be eligible to win a raffle prize from Dunkin’. In addition, each family in attendance will receive a free flowering plant provided by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department, while supplies last. Fresh fruit will be provided by Star Market. Additional support by City Express.
