Celebrate Allston-Brighton renters and see who takes home the top prizes at Charles River Speedway!
We hope you will join us for the Award Ceremony for the 2nd Annual Renters' Garden Contest on Friday, October 7 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Charles River Speedway. This ceremony will celebrate the creativity and transformations renters have performed with plants, gardens, and flowers in our neighborhood. For a community that does not own and sometimes doesn't have access to land, we have had a range of submissions giving us insight into how renters' have incorporated plants and greenery in their limited spaces. Submissions are open through Tuesday, September 27.
Check out the Speedway, now totally full of vendor with us at this outdoor ceremony next to Notch Brewery's beer garden. Be sure to check out all it has to offer for drinks, eats, and more after the ceremony!
The meeting will be televised on Boston City TV (Xfinity Channel 24, RCN Channel 13, and Verizon Fios Channel 962) and livestreamed on Boston.gov.
The scope of work includes small and large dog areas, shade shelters, bottle fillers with dog bowls, and dog playscapes.
