Improvements to Walsh Playground
Park established 1946
Improvements are happening at Walsh Playground. Construction is ongoing and is anticipated to be completed in summer 2025. See the section below for construction updates. The renovated park will include a new playground and splash pad, a basketball court and half court, tennis court, multi-purpose fields, competition softball field, café tables, and a walking path, as well as new tree and shrub plantings.
The community engagement process was completed in 2023. See below for meeting recordings, presentation slides, and meeting notes.
Walsh Playground is a 6.95 acre park with a play area, basketball court, tennis court, two ballfields, and wooded area.
