Bridge the Gap Mini-Grant
Veterans Services will award mini-grants to organizations that support the veteran community of Boston and “Bridge the Gap” that exists after possible allocation of federal or state benefits.
Community Youth Sports Grant
This grant is intended to increase the availability of community-based youth sports opportunities for young people ages 8-18.
Older Americans Act Services Opportunity
Through the Older Americans Act Support and Health Services Grant, the Age Strong Commission seeks to fund programs that are providing a comprehensive and supportive social service system while promoting lan optimal quality of life for older adults.
Swim Safe Access Grant

This grant is intended to increase the number of high-quality out-of-school programming opportunities for youth throughout the city, with a focus on sports, arts education, and growing a green generation.

Open ApplicationsWe are excited to announce the 2024 Community Youth Sports Grant. This funding opportunity is open to 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations or fiscal sponsors of local providers who have been in operation for the past two years, with a record of youth enrollment who serve youth ages 8-18 to participate in athletic programming. This effort is to support organizations that are community-based sports organizations with a mostly volunteer staff (more than 50%).
Grant recipients will receive funding for up to $10,000 to support increasing access to sports opportunities for Boston youth. Applicants must intend to use funds to (1) reduce the registration fee, (2) purchase new equipment or uniforms, and /or (3) cover rental space costs. The Office of Human Services may choose to fund applicants in part. A total of $300,000 will be available for community-based sports non-profit organizations.
The Deadline to apply for the Community Youth Sports Grant is September 13th, 2024.
The Mayor’s Office of Human Services is now accepting applications for the FY25 Youth Development Fund (YDF) Grant Program. The grants, which range in size between $9,999 and $30,000, are intended to increase the number of high-quality out-of-school programming opportunities for youth throughout the city, with a focus on sports, arts education, and growing a green generation.
The Deadline to apply for the Youth Development Fund is August 30th, 2024.
